Trip to California (part 10) - the parade at Disneyland

One of these days I promise I'll finish up the posts about about California trip. I have so much catching up to do!

The parade at Disneyland was definitely the highlight of the day for our kids. All three of them were so excited each time they saw a different princess or Disney character they recognized. We arrived early for the parade because we wanted to see the pre-parade. The pre-parade was one float with Elsa, Anna, and Olaf. Our kids (yes, even Malakai!) screamed and cheered with delighted when they saw them.

After Elsa, Anna, and Olaf went by we had a 10-15 minute wait before the actual parade began. And once again, Sanaa squealed with delight each time she saw a different princess.

Currently, Ariel is Sanaa's favorite princess, but that often changes fairly quick.

Cinderella has been Layla's favorite princess, although, she is starting to like Tinkerbell (who I know isn't a princess but a fairy) and wants to wear a Tinkerbell costume for Halloween.

Malakai's favorite show is Jake and the Neverland Pirates so I think he enjoyed seeing Captain Hook, Smee, and Peter Pan. Layla and Sanaa also enjoy the show quite a bit so it's nice to have at least one show that all the kids can agree on.

These last three pictures aren't from the parade. As we were walking around Disneyland we actually saw Princess Aurora and got a picture with her. The girls were very excited to see a princess so close and to have their picture taken with her.

We also waited in line to get a picture with Minnie Mouse.
